Effect of COVID-19 on Infant Development

Our lab is part of the COVID-19 Mother Baby Outcomes (COMBO) group, a team of pediatricians and psychologists at Columbia examining effects of COVID-19 exposure and pandemic-related stress on mothers and infants. The COMBO study involves a group of mothers who tested positive for COVID-19 during pregnancy and a comparable group who tested negative. Both groups will complete surveys, Zoom call interactions, and in-person testing across the first two years of infancy. Our lab is spearheading Zoom-based experiments at 9 months of age to examine cognition in mothers and infants.
