Andrew Marin

Postdoc

Andrew (he/him) is a postdoctoral research scientist in the DCN lab. He completed his PhD at the University of California, San Diego, under the supervision of Dr. Leslie Carver. Broadly speaking, Andrew is interested in how the infant brain learns to anticipate multimodal sensory information in natural environments. In his postdoc, he will explore how genetic risk for neurodevelopmental conditions like autism influences neural, sensory, cognitive, and social communication development in infancy. Outside the lab, Andrew is eager to navigate playing golf while living in the city; he also enjoys exploring museums and attending concerts.
